This unconventional multifunctional space is located on the site of a former slaughterhouse complex in the Holešovice Market. Halls 7 and 8 have become a home for contemporary and experimental art. The venue offers ideal conditions for contemporary circus, dance, non-verbal, alternative, and puppet theatre. It is the home stage of the founding company Cirk La Putyka, as well as DEKKADANCERS and Heaven’s Gate. Most performances are suitable for international audiences. In particular, shows by Cirk La Putyka and DEKKADANCERS are english-friendly, often non-verbal or with minimal spoken language, making them easy to enjoy even without knowledge of Czech.
The space is open to both Czech and international ensembles and is designed for residencies, performances, workshops, conferences, discussions, lectures, exhibitions, and happenings. A true temple of creativity.
