Michal Cimala: Pressure wave

The basic outline of the work of sculptor, painter, designer and musician Michal Cimala is a contradiction of phenomena across contemporary social and personal reality. Enthusiasm and intoxication from the speed of technical and technological changes, which push human consciousness into new experiential spaces and planes inviting discovery, alternate with fatigue, skepticism and anxiety calling for a pause and reflection on what is multiplying and overtaking.

The Planetarium is closed for technical reasons from July 2023. The Retro Museum Prague, the Vrtba Garden, the Troja Chateau, the New Town Hall – observation tower, the House at the Stone Bell, the Municipal Library – Gallery and the Marold Panorama are also closed. The seasonal operation of the Historic Carousel has ended. Art Shop Municipal House is permanently closed. Thank you for your understanding.

The basis is a camera located on the Petrin Tower, which at regular intervals creates a panoramic view of Prague, provides weather information and offers an interactive menu with places that you can visit with the official tourist card Prague Visitor Pass.
