The Gothic cellar is a remnant of a 14th Century palace and previously served as a warehouse. Today, the premises have been renovated and contain a permanent exhibition documenting the historical development of Vyšehrad from its inception to the present.
The exhibition presents Vyšehrad in its various historical forms. The oldest exhibits document the presence and activity of people at Vyšehrad as early as the 4th and 3rd millennia BC. Visitors can learn more about the changes to this site, its purpose and understanding over time.
